HoloCons (HoloMuck Conventions)
Starting early in HoloMuck's history, it became apparent that many of
those who visited the game found that it would be interesting and fun
to meet other players of the game face to face. It didn't take long,
therefore, for the first HoloCon to be organized.
NOTE: Due to some confusion about numbering of HoloCons and the fact
that the previous scheme did not allow for the correct numbering of one
unofficial HoloCon in a proper manner, a new guideline has been established.
All official HoloCons have a "major" number, which will be indicated with
a Roman numeral. All "minor" or "unofficial" HoloCons will be labeled as
a subset of the official HoloCons in decimal notation (e.g. II.1). This
allows HoloCons, both official and unofficial, to be labeled in ascending
order by date without confusion or limiting the number of unofficial
gatherings which may occur and be recorded in between official HoloCons.
HoloCon VII is now in pre-planning! For the past couple of years we've
wanted to see another HoloCon happen. And since it's lucky number seven,
it just seemed fitting to host it in Las Vegas. We'll try and get some
announcements out soon about the HoloCon. Please mark it on your
